Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms apply to your use of sandiegolawlibraryfoundation.org, operated by the San Diego Law Library Foundation ("the Foundation", "we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About the Foundation and the Law Library
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable trust that raises support for the San Diego Law Library. The Law Library is a separate public agency; its services, facilities and online resources are governed by its own policies, which you can find on its website.
No legal advice
Information on this website is for general information about the Foundation, its programs and the Law Library. It is not legal advice, and using this site or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship with the Foundation, its trustees or anyone named on the site. For advice about your situation, consult a licensed attorney. Law Library staff can help you find legal information but cannot give legal advice.
Donations
- Online donations are processed by DonorPerfect, and your payment is also subject to its terms.
- Gifts are tax deductible as permitted by law. We send an acknowledgment for your records; please consult your tax advisor about your own situation.
- If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us promptly and we will work with you to resolve it.
- Gifts directed to a particular fund are used for that fund's purpose. The Foundation's trustees oversee the use of all funds in support of the Law Library.
Event tickets and sponsorships
- Tickets for the Witkin Awards Dinner are sold through Zeffy, and your purchase is also subject to Zeffy's terms.
- Event details, including the program, schedule and venue, may change. We will tell ticket holders about significant changes.
- Questions about tickets, transfers or cancellations: please contact us and we will help.
- Sponsorship benefits are as described for each level at the time you sponsor, subject to availability and to deadlines for program and promotional materials. We confirm the details with each sponsor.
- By attending the event you agree that you may appear in photographs taken there, which the Foundation may use to report on and promote its work. If you would prefer not to appear, let us know.
